Soooo, Did I mention I am highly indecisive? It’s my vice, my downfall, but I’ve learned to deal with it **shrug** I decided the previous site was a nice starting point, but just didn’t scream ME. My other half has been encouraging(okay more like threatening and I quote ‘if you don’t update your website I am taking it down from my server’) for the past month to get myself together. So where the heck have I been since SparkCon? Well right before sparkcon, I had just been hired onto a new job. The grueling three months of training really drained me and I barely had much mental motivation to rehaul the site. We recently also moved(THANK GOD), so Mr. Forge can have his own Studio and I can have my own. Since this is a special occasion, I figured I’ll give you all a sneak peak at the new studio. I wanted to do a whole post with everything I had done to it because i spent a while decorating, painting, and furnishing it……. but to be completely honest, I have already broken in the studio and it’s looking like the night before the fashion show status, and kind of embarrassing.  Kind of a disaster.   Sooooo all you get are two pictures….and a sleepy doggie. Thanks for coming back to visit everybody!  Many new things coming up!

FashionSpark was a complete Success!!!!!!  I had a wonderful time and was very happy with how well everything went.  I met some amazing people, and it still excites me that Raleigh has so much FRESH talent going on, and FINALLY people will get to see it.  My collection was inspired by aquatic elements.  I took some inspiration from Coral formations, the Ocean, The textures of the oceanfloor and a bit of 18th and 19th century design elements.  I also wanted to mix alot of textures both in Draping elements and different textured fabrics.  These four pieces are part of a full collection I will be working on through the end of the year, and hopefully, begining 2010 I will be having my own show and will be showing my full collection.
